Maremma calves are raised wild for two years by Roberto before being slaughtered. The meat of this breed has the taste of the outdoors, of a pasture-based diet supplemented in winter with hay. The Tistarelli family has always slaughtered cattle for their own and the farm’s use; for years neighbors and friends have been asking for meat as well. Thus were born “packs,” packages of meat with a selection of cuts useful for numerous recipes, each cut vacuum-packed so it can be conveniently stored frozen.
Sales occur 3 times a year: once in the fall, once for Christmas, and once in the spring, and are now available for purchase throughout the country. On Milan and Rome they are delivered with a CargoBike service that cuts shipping costs and allows for a less polluting impact on transportation.
Family eating package (10kg)
It is designed for families, so you have some convenient cuts for quick preparations such as shreds or cutlets; there is mince for meat sauce, meatballs, meatloaf or even ethnic dishes; then there are steaks and cuts for mouth-watering dinners or ossobuco, roast and boiled meats that are ideal for special dinners when you have guests for dinner.
Gourmet dinner package (5kg)
It is designed for all lovers of good, great food; it is the special stash to keep in the freezer for special occasions: dinners for two, invitations from friends or relatives. It is ideal for enthusiasts in the kitchen to test themselves with classic dishes or creative recipes.
Baby pack (5kg)
There is an ever-increasing demand for good meat that can be made easily and lightly every day for those who have little ones to feed. The “Baby Pack” was born out of this need. Inside is everything you need to grow little connoisseurs of good meat, the only meat that should be consumed!
Holiday package
Ideal at Christmas, but perfect really for any occasion, the “Maremma Basket” is a taste of this land, useful for making those who have already been there nostalgic and foolproof for enticing those who have never been to come visit soon. All is produced on the farm or by neighboring farms, in fact very close.
